A new device called N93i has been shown to the world today. The rumoured device and successor of the N93, the first ever multimedia computer, will be a new device build on the basis of the current N93 but with some major differences with respect to looks, buid-in specifications and the name.
The new N93i which is shown on the pictures below consists of a mini-USB port instead of a pop-port and different joystick on the right hand side. The position for the infrared port situated on the left hand side and a memory card slot on the right hand side have also been changed. Futhermore it is quite clear that the external screen will vanish when switched off in relation to the external mirror surface and that the handsfree speaker is situated on both sides of the device. We expect that there will be a stereo speaker system.
Next to these changes the N93i will consist of WLAN/Wifi, Bluetooth, 3.2 Mpixel camera with auto focus, flash, optical zoom and DVD-like video recording, infrared, 262.000 color TFT screen with 320 x 240 pixels resolution, FM-radio, email, SMS, MMS, video calling, 3G/UMTS, EDGE, GPRS, Symbian operating system and Series 60 3rd Edition user interface.
When more information arrives about the new device we will inform you as soon as possible.
