Šta se dešava sa mobilnom telefonijom?

Wicker Man, ja u ovim tabelema vidim samo podatke o raspodeli proizvodjaca u smart segmentu. Ne vidim nigde podatak o ucescu smart telefona u ukupnoj raspodeli.

Pa naravno nema ucesca u ukupnom poretku,ali imaju podaci o stalnom rastu
koji beleze kompanije u smart segmentu.Posebno Apple i HTC.

Sto se tice tehnoloske pismenosti u instranstvu - prirodom posla saradjujem sa informaticki pismenim strancima, a i radio sam kao podizvodjac vise meseci u jednoj francuskoj kompaniji koji se, pored ostalog bavi i softverom, i nisam stekao utisak da su nesto posebno zainteresovani za smart telefone.

Takodje sam imao dodirnih tacaka sa inostranim drzavljanima,tacnije jedno vreme ziveo kod njih i moja su iskustva nesto drugacija,ne samo u pogledu informisanosti u oblasti telefonije nego uopste o tech desavanjima.
Ali dobro,nisam bio u Francuskoj,mozda su oni nesto lenji.
A jos jeda podatak o nasoj tech osvestenosti je u temi koju je IDzO postavio.

Jedan zanimljiv clanak sa Mobile-review sajta -> Nokia admits losing leadership on the top smartphone market

Jedan citat iz teksta:

...Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo, Nokia’s CEO, said at the meeting with shareholders on May 6. He was quoted as saying “We are working hard to reclaim leadership in high end smartphones and mobile computers.”

Here we are to understand a simple thing: you are either a leader and are holding on to the leadership or you are losing the segment and giving it away to other companies. Nokia happened to live with the second scenario. The company is losing its position on the top smartphone market and trying to make up the lost ground… by knocking off the price for its new models...

Hehe,pa ovo za nas koji pratimo mobilno trziste je dobro poznata cinjenica koju je Nokia konacno odlucila potvrditi.E sad kad neko dodje pa kaze Nokija je Nokija treba ga uputiti na ovaj clanak.
A sto se tice njihove borbe da povrate vodece mesto u smart segmentu,cenim da ce se dobro oznojiti a uspeh ne verujem da ce biti zagarantovan.

U sustini ovo moze samo da donese dobro korisnicima,jer bi konacno iz Nokia-e trebalo da pocnu da izlaze modeli koji ce pored naprednih f-ja imati i odgovarajuci "hardwer" (tu prvenstveno mislim na samu izradu telefona),sto se vec moze videti kod modela N8 koji je mnogo bolje odradjen od poslednjih izdanaka iz Nokia-ijine fabrike,a povrh svega i najavljena cena tog modela ide u prilog vesti koju je IDzO preneo...
A ako Nokia "udari" na trziste nizim cenama,i ostali ce to morati da isprate ili ce ostati bez dela trzista za koji su se vesto i pametno izborili...

Fox, Haha,dobar hardver,napredne funkcije,niske cene i to sve pod "okriljem" Nokije,mora da se salis?To vec spada u hard core SF.

Wicker Man,da li spada u SF ili ne,imacemo prilike u skorije vreme i to da vidimo,ono sto "ohrabruje" je na pr. cena za koju se moze rezervisati N8 (pre-order),koja iznosi oko 500 eura sa porezom od 20% sto je malo veca cena nego li sto se prodaje Desire na tom trzistu.

The Nokia N8 will be our only Nseries device on Symbian^3. Of course, we ‘never comment on future products’, but a Symbian^4 Nseries device is a strong possibility. A very strong possibility

Symbian is our platform of choice for Nokia smartphones. Symbian has taken a lot of criticism lately – some of it fair, some not. But what is consistently overlooked is that Symbian still accounts for more than two-fifths of the global smartphone market. We believe the Nokia N8 will have great appeal. People want a smartphone that is familiar, packed with features, offers great performance. With products like the N8 and others to follow, we have preserved the best and most familiar parts of Symbian, making it effortless for the largest population of smartphone users to upgrade. We are determined to win back supporters, including Ricky, our favourite Symbian Guru.

MeeGo offers us an opportunity to take mobile technology beyond the smartphone, and into a new world of connected devices. As Symbian gears up to compete with the likes of iPhone and Android, MeeGo is taking clear aim at the computing space.

The current phase of MeeGo development is looking awesome. We believe it will power the computers of the future. And the computers of the future will not be tied to a desk or even a lap – they will fit in your pocket.

From the ground up, MeeGo is a computer operating system. Working with Intel, we’ve combined our assets to create a software platform that completely integrates mobile elements such as GPS, Bluetooth, NFC and more. This will offer developers a rich environment to create new possibilities for users.

Ima da se najedu mnogo pasulja dok se ne vrate na vr` i dok ne usavrse Symb. da se moze uspesno nositi sa iOS, Androidom i WM-om!

Moze, ali moraju da izbace Symbian 10.x koji ce da bude potpuno redizajniran, sasvim drugacijeg koncepta i po meni najvaznije - mora da bude open-source kao Android, jer upravo zato i ima onakav rast! Bez toga, mogu samo da se pokriju ushima, and forever hold their peace.

miodrage, Symbian je postao open source platforma od februara 2010, daklem open-source je vec 5 meseci.

tomas.hokenberi, open-source kao da ga nadogradjuju sami korisnici kako to pozele, ili samo open u smislu da ne mora da se hakuje vishe i sta ti ja znam sta da bi imali sve aplikacije ? Ne pratim Symbian vec godinama, kao ni druge OS-e, imam dovoljno petljanja oko iOS-a

Naravno obzirom na prirodu operativnih sistema za mobilne telefone ovo ce mnogo manje iskoristiti krajnji korisnici a mnogo vise proizvodjaci mobilnih telefona. Aplikacije koje su pisane za Symbian kao closed source su naravno i dalje closed source posto je samo operativni sistem postao open source.

HTC profits skyrocket, surpass all expectations
HTC has recorded yet another amazingly successful quarter, according to their financial results report. The Taiwanese company exceeded its expectations achieving a thirty-three percent growth in profits compared to the same period of last year.

For the second quarter of 2010 HTC has generated 1.88 billion US dollars revenue, which is about 280 million dollars more than the target the company set at the end of Q1. The profits are also impressive, standing at 268 million dollars. This compares very favorably to the 202 million dollars of profit registered during Q2 of 2009.

This all comes despite the fact that the market share of Windows Mobile is rapidly shrinking and we all known how big HTC are in the WinMo game. Luckily for them the other platform where they are leading is doing much better and this has led them to success.

Svaka im cast napravili su odlicne poteze ubacujuci nove softvere i hardvere u svoje modele,a njihov inerfejs je pravi praznik za oci.
HTC je u ovoj godini napravio malo modela ali je svaki skoro bio hit.
Kod njih vazi ono pravilo jedan ali vredan i taj jedan im donese vise profita od pojedinih kompanija koje puste u promet na desetine modela ali dzabe kada se ne prodaju da ne pisem na koji brend mislim jer bi otvorio mali rat.

Samsung telefoni najprodavaniji

Zapadna Evropa je dobila novog lidera na polju mobilnih telefona. Nokia je svrgnuta sa čelne pozicije od kraja prvog kvartala ove godine.

Nakon kompletiranih analiza prikupljenih podataka, ispostavilo se da je Samsung preuzeo primat na tržištima Zapadne Evrope sa 12,2 miliona isporučenih mobilnih telefona, naspram 9,1 miliona, koliko je isporučila Nokia.

Posmatrano na ovom tržištu, to znači da je Nokia zabeležila pad prodaje od čak 18 procenata. Određenu utehu Nokia može naći u tome što je i dalje lider u domenu smartphone uređaja na ovom tržištu, sa 4,9 miliona prodatih primeraka. Nasuprot tome, Samsung je prodao svega 0,3 miliona smartphonea na zapadnoevropskom tržištu.

Kada je o ovim uređajima reč, u Zapadnoj Evropi su značajno prisutni i Apple sa 3 miliona prodatih telefona, kao i RIM sa 2,4 miliona prodatih BlackBerry uređaja, dok je iza njih HTC sa 0,9 miliona.

Sony Ericsson Q2 results are out, sales increase by 25 percent
Sony Ericsson has just posted its financial quarter summary and once again things are looking pretty decent for the Japanese-Swedish joint venture. The painful and expensive restructuring is obviously starting to pay off and the company has registered profits for a second quarter in a row.

The net profits are only 12 million euro this time, 9 million less than in the first three months of this year, but this is a positive result nonetheless. And hadn’t it been for the 32 million restructuring charges things would have looked even healthier for Sony Ericsson.

The company has managed to ship 11 million handsets over the past quarter, generating gross income of 1.757 billion euro, a 25 percent increase compared to Q1 and 4 percent increase over Q2 of 2009. The market share of the joint venture remains unchanged at an estimated 4 percent.

The average selling price of the Sony Ericsson handsets has increased to 160 euro (compared to 134 euro in Q1), reflecting the company’s continuous migration towards high-end devices.

The company quotes the good market reception of the XPERIA X10 and Vivaz as the reason behind their success. As for the future forecasts, Sony Ericsson rely largely on the XPERIA X10 mini and X10 mini pro that started shipping at the end of Q2 to secure their long term growth.

... i tako Motorola ulozi te 1.2 milijardice u razvoj novih modela na Android platformi, pocne ozbiljno da drmusa trzistem i ubira "kajmak" (a to se vec desava), a ti Nokijico draga i dalje trosi lovu na druge stvari umesto da se pozabavis zeljama svojih, sve manje vernih, korisnika...
